Favorite Verse:Psalm 40:1-3
“I waited patiently for the LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.”
Testimony: I became a Christian my senior year in high school right after a Campus Outreach meeting, where the speaker clearly shared the Gospel. I realized that my sin separated me from God and there was no amount of righteous acts or good deeds I could ever do to get right with God (Isaiah 64:6). He explained that our sin was why Christ came—to live the righteous life I never could and die for my sin. After that meeting, I surrendered my life to Christ, repenting of living my life for myself and desiring to have Him take His rightful place as Lord of my life. Since then, learning and growing in God and experiencing the amazing joy of hoping in Him!
