“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my might rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”

Testimony: I am so thankful and incredibly blessed to have grown up in a home where my parents told me about Jesus and modeled an example of what it looks like to follow Him.  However, I really allowed my morality to become my savior as I went through middle school and high school and was very much a Pharisee, looking down on anyone who seemed to be “sinful.”  My view of Jesus completely changed on my first Summer Project when I was confronted with the fact that my sin put Jesus on the cross just as much as anyone else’s, and that I was in desperate need of a Savior.  Dependence on Jesus became a must for me as I realized what it meant to stand on His account for the full weight of my life.
