"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

Testimony: I spent the first 19 years of my life thinking I could be good enough to earn my way to heaven. In June of 2007  my eyes were opened to the fact that nothing I could ever do would would be good enough for God's standards, and that all my most righteous acts were considered filthy before God's holiness. I also found out that for that very reason, God humbly became man and himself bore the penalty of my sin on a cross to show his grace and make a way for me back to him. In response to that love, I acknowledged Jesus Christ as my savior instead of myself, and asked him to become Lord of my life. Now I live freely fighting to remember that grace daily, and have been called to share the good news of God's love through Jesus Christ to others who don't know him. I have tasted abundant life in Christ and it is and always will be far better than anything this world has to offer! "And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." -1 John 2:17
